Petroleum Hose
Modern petroleum hose from Unisource has changed and evolved more than any other class of industrial hose. With changes in aromatic content, new tube stocks were needed. Petroleum hose has also seen new markets, such as the fracing industry. Frac applications involve different types of petroleum products, chemicals, and a myriad of waste products. New types of petroleum hose had to be developed. The alternative fuels sector has also demanded new types of hose. Biodiesel and bio diesel blends, ethanol and it’s blends. New petroleum hose specs were called for again. Unisource has responded to these new applications with an expanded product line. We now offer innovative hose specs for each of these new applications. In addition, we still offer all of the traditional petroleum hose and tank truck hoses. Our lineup includes PVC/polyurethane blends, all-rubber transfer hoses in both smooth and corrugated cover, and pressure ratings as high as 500 PSI working pressure.
