Heavy-Duty Rubber Bulk Material Hose & Slurry Hose
Our hard-wall DRY BULK MATERIAL HOSES have static-dissipating liners, eliminating the need for a static wire. These hoses utilize liners of SBR rubber blends, natural rubber, or pure gum rubber. Pressure reinforcing consists of multiple textile plies and steel wire helix. Corrugated covers provide for added flexibility and tighter bend radiuses. Tube thicknesses for dry bulk and typically 3/16-inch or 1/4-inch. Dry bulk applications would include vacuum truck installations conveying gravel, leaves, and other debris. These hose are also used to convey abrasive cargo, such as sand, cement, fly ash, gravel, iron ore and grains. Ideal for wet or dry applications. Unisource material hoses are intended for both in-plant and vacuum truck applications. Our bulk material hose line included specs with a tan FDA natural rubber tube to transfer bulk food products. See our Food & Beverage Hose section for other food transfer hoses.
Unisource CORRUGATED SLURRY HOSE is designed for mining mill slurry and similar applications. The system includes corrugated hose with externally installed split flanges that are designed to exactly fit over the hose corrugations, allowing the suer to cut hose and add the fittings on the jobsite–dramatically reducing downtime. “Slurry-Flex” hose and coupling systems are available from 3-inch to 12-inch I.D. For instances that require a more specialized hose, we offer hand-built slurry hoses with integral nipples and rotating flanges. Custom-built hoses can be constructed with choice of liner thickness and type, pressure rating, lengths from 5-feet to 50 feet and sizes from 3-inch to 40-inch. Many other options are also available.
To provide superior wear resistance over traditionally steel lined piping components, consider Unisource RUBBER ELBOWS AND RUBBER REDUCERS. Formed rubber wear elbows can be made with bends from 22-1/2 degrees to 180 degrees, with duck and rubber flanges or rotating steel backing flanges. Liners are typically gum rubber, providing extreme abrasion resistance. Bend profiles can be 3D or 5D. Rubber reducers can be produced in a great variety of sizes.
