Chemical Hose

Chemical hose is used in many industries to transfer specialty liquid chemicals. Uses of chemical hose include in-plant transfer, plant tanks to tank truck, and tank truck to customer facility tanks. Unisource chemical hose is offered with inner tubes constructed of Nylon, cross-link polyethylene (XLPE), modified cross-link polyethylene (modified XLPE), ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE), and fluorinated ethylene propylene (FEP). Synthetic rubber covers can be corrugated to increase flexibility and reduce weight. Modern liner formulations allow for higher temperatures than earlier generation chemical hose. These recent liner developments also allow for greater flexibility. For example, UHMWPE (ultra-high molecular weight polyethyene) lined hose offers chemical resistance that is high enough to allow for thinner hose liners, resulting in a tighter bend radius and reduced force to bend. These factors create a chemical hose that is far easier for the operator to use, reducing fatigue, injuries, and hook-up time.

Also check out our PTFE & FEP hose section for additional specifications and styles.

Unisource chemical hose is marketed through hose distributors and specialty distributors throughout North America. If your company is interested in becoming a Unisource distributor or would like to find the nearest current Unisource distributor, Contact Us for more information.
