Papermill washdown hose is a specialized product engineered for the particular needs of the pulp and paper industry. Unisource papermill washdown hose meets the traditional demands for a hose that can be used for cleaning around sensitive paper machines, as well as for the demanding conditions seen in pulp mill applications. Unisource Series 2640 and Series 2645 are both constructed with SBR tube and cover, providing high temperature resistance, and excellent abrasion resistance. A proprietary textile ply reinforcing is able to give the hose a 150 PSIG W.P. rating in all sizes (from 3/4-inch to 1-1/2-inch). One end of these hoses is tapered and forms a natural nozzle for straight-steam cleaning. This tapered nozzle end does not require a metallic fitting or nozzle. The rubber-only nozzle assures that sensitive, expensive paper machine equipment is not damaged by metal fittings. Choose white or green hose.
Unisource also offers two traditional canvas covered washdown hoses. Our Series 2660 is a 1-1/2-inch hose with single canvas jacket and rubber liner. This 250 PSI test rated hose is paired with brass or aluminum fittings for deluge washing. Our Series 2665 is a double-jacket version canvas covered hose for additional life and abrasion protection.
