Unisource dry cement hose and hot air blower hose are perfectly suited for use on pneumatic trailers carrying dry bulk products.

Dry cement hose is a collapsible discharge hose most often used for the transfer of cement or dry powder products under gravity flow or low pressure on bulk transport truck/trailers. Unisource Series 2340 hose is excellent for the transfer of lime, silica, and other powder commodities. It is also used for sand/water mix applications on fracking sites. Series 2340 dry cement hose is constructed with either a 1/8-inch, 3/16-inch, or 1/4-inch thick natural rubber tube. The tube is highly abrasion resistant and is static conducting. Textile reinforcing is used for pressure resistance. A black SBR cover protects the reinforcing from external abrasion and resists the effects of weather and ozone. Rated to 75 PSIG W.P. and 180 Deg. F. in all sizes. Collapsable and light weight for easy storage and handling. In stock in sizes 4-inch and 5-inch. Special order in sizes 4-1/2-inch, 5-inch w/1/4″ tube, and 6-inch. Hot air blower hose is a lightweight hose designed for transferring hot (non-oily) air to tanks on dry bulk material truck trailers (pneumatic trailers). Unisource hot air blower hose is connected between manifold blowers or compressors to a storage tank. This hot air is intended to eliminate moisture buildup in dry bulk products. These hoses are also a good choice for in-plant compressors to holding tanks used in the transfer of dry bulk products. Series 2390 is constructed with EPDM rubber tube and cover, which offers excellent heat resistance (350 Deg. F.) and withstands environmental conditions.Textile reinforced to provide 100 PSIG W.P at 4:1 safety factor.

Applications:

This hose is specifically designed to convey hot air at 350°F continuously in the process of loading/unloading dry materials in plants or transport vehicles. The hose transfers hot air from the compressor to the storage bin/cargo bay to propel bulk product. The specially formulated EPDM tube and cover offer excellent resistance to heat as well as to weather and ozone.
