Expansion Joints for every type of piping system
Whether your expansion joint requirements are for stainless steel bellows, rubber joints with arch or sphere, PTFE lined connectors, or combinations of these styles, Unisource can supply the correct product. We can even build joints that combine the best properties of these styles. For example, stainless steel bellows with PTFE coatings, rubber arch style expansion joints with PTFE liners, or even flexible metal hose with smooth-bore PTFE liners. In addition, Unisource has the expertise to build both pressure piping joints or light-weight duct style joints.
In order to support our distributors, we stock rubber single and double sphere connectors and accessories that meet the specifications of HVAC projects. This means providing noise and vibration control and absorbing pipe movements. For common industrial projects such as water and waste treatment, we stock the most requested sizes and styles of spool-type rubber expansion joints and accessories. We also maintain a large inventory of PTFE bellows connectors. These may be needed in chemical applications, treatment plants, and high-purity.
For special applications, we can manufacture products per application. Examples would include special lengths, multiple arches, reducing styles, high-pressure, special alloys, low spring-rate, liners, covers–whatever your specs call for. For safety enhancement in hazardous environments, Unisource also offers safety shields. Typically a TFE/fiberglass combination, safety shields contain media leakage or blowouts of piping components such as expansion joints, flanges, or valves.
